Service Description

The YELD facilitator certification is a 10-week hands-on and online competency-based program. Facilitators work with youth and young adults in any capacity, community, or culture. The certificate enhances professionals' equipping through practical knowledge, hands-on tools, and resources to improve services to lead, empower, advocate, and develop youth and young adults. YELD Facilitators have a passion for positively impacting youth achievement and success. Our work is through meaningful engagement and leadership development. Youth Facilitators coach, guide, and support youth in identifying their passion, purpose, and goals. Also, they help youth prepare for achievement and life-long success. Facilitators participate in an introspective formation process that includes a three-in-one leadership assessment. This high-impact course where prospective facilitators engage in robust learning that is experiential, critical, and reflective. Scheduled video sessions serve to enhance discussions, collaboration, and group learning. Ongoing support, continuous education, coaching, and networking opportunities are available through webinars, workshops, and annual events. YELD Facilitators work in various fields, e.g., Education, Middle and High School Teachers, Life Skills Trainers, Instructors, Career & Workforce Development Facilitators, Non-profit Program Managers, Consultants, Life Coaches, Recreation Supervisors, Program Managers, Pastors, Parents, and Youth Ministers.
